[Field Experiment Protocol] Unmanned Trust-Based Environments
Hypothesis:
Spaces without surveillance, when designed with embedded cultural cues (art, narrative, ritual), lead to higher stewardship and pro-social behavior than surveilled or monitored spaces.
Explorations:
[Field Experiment Protocol] Architectural Friction & Invitation
Hypothesis:
Spaces with mild “invitation friction” (e.g., thresholds that require intention: removing shoes, writing a note, performing a small ritual) increase respect, attention, and emotional engagement.
