Observations regarding the building's condition, value, change of use, etc. ・It was built on a sloped land and is in good condition with no signs of decay due to the dry condition under the building floor. ・This house was built as a sericulture farm, and the interior has since been renovated, with the exception of the tatami room covered with new building materials. ・The bathroom and toilet part appear to have been expanded, and the exterior walls are made of waist blocks and are finished with a large mortar coating.

Observations about the area (historical, cultural, scenic features, etc. of the area where the building is located) ・It is included in the Komoro City Landscape Ordinance priority area.

• Although there is some deterioration on the exterior wall eaves and around the eaves gutters, the building is generally in good condition with no internal floor unevenness and only a slight inclination of the pillars.
• It is a village located along the valley at the foot of Mt. Takamine, and there is a theory that the place name Hishino comes from the Takeda clan's family crest.
• Prefectural Route 130 Hishino-Tsutsui Line runs through the area from north to south, the Asama Sun Line runs from east to west, and the Joshinetsu Expressway runs through it.
