situated on more than a quarter acre, with about 1/6 of that being building area (two floors, = 4800 square feet ish). Having a lot of space is perfect for having many friends over! This Akiya is somewhat rural, but is an 8 min drive from the beautiful lake biwa, near a campground for fishing/swimming and camping. Because it's on a quarter acre, there is plenty of space to set up a garden / wonderful backyard space for hanging out and relaxing. Plus, it is near a Shinkansen stop, making it easy to get to Tokyo, Kyoto, etc 😄

It’s just a walk from the main station in Aso and hot springs baths. The piece of land isn’t too big but I plan on renting a small plot to cultivate my greens on. Also, there’s some work to do on ( insulation, solar energy), but that would be my real dream house…!

I think I like this one. It has a sunroom that has a lot of potential. A small garden can be created right outside of this as well ( I think this space is wasted currently). This house is also relatively close to the Awara Onsens. I love onsens so this is a great feature for me. It is also close to fukui-shi the capital city of the prefecture. This property will probably need several improvements for sure but it definitely has a lot of nice features

    I posted this one a few months? ago, and it really struck me because of the views of Fuji, and upon second look it's actually quite close to Yugawara area + relatively affordable. I'm a sucker for big windows. 3SLDK! Plus a 14 Tatami mat continuous room.

    This one has my heart because of the super long hallways and bright wood accents. It's 10LDK, has parking for 8 cars, and honestly is just beautiful. Highly recommend scrolling through the pictures on this one, I've included one, but it's a huge place. This one is located in Niigata. Beautiful Space with loads of room.
