Top of Mind
- [x] Make sure there is an akiya account on at least TikTok and Instagram with the password in a shared Password Manager.
- [x] Make a shared Drive or Dropbox or something for people to easily drop their videos into.
Logistics
- [x] A communal place (google Drive or something) for people to put any videos they’ve recorded of the days activities or anything they did that day that was interesting
- [x] Michelle should probably be the narrator, Chris S should probably be in charge of putting the videos together, choosing the audio, etc. Script writing isn’t necessary can probably just wing it.
- [ ] A separate account for the content: akiyaDAO or whatever on all platforms (can put the password for it in a password manager). Main platforms I think should be TikTok and IG Reels (both extensively used by Japanese people as well). People can share these videos on their personal social media pages to filter people over to it.
- Try to make daily or every other day videos.
Ideas
- A video journal of each day: “Day 1 of the Izu residency we visited blah blah and did blah blah etc.”
Tips
- Should be as much about the people as the activities (people like people)
- First couple seconds of video should feature a person in the frame to capture attention
- If people are making content on other accounts related to akiya, tagging the main akiya account would be ideal to filter people over to it.
- Try to make daily or every other day videos, consistency is important.
- Make sure the background / video is well lit
